ABOUT
Certified sex educator and afterglow founder Lilly Sparks is hosting a special Movie Club for World Sexual Health Day exploring a simple idea: communication is the secret to great sex – for Every Body. Through (Safe for Work) erotic movie clips and expert conversation, the event will look at how voicing our desires, needs, and boundaries expands our sexual experiences and increases pleasure.

Girlsplaining, afterglow’s educational erotic film about the power — and pleasure — of speaking up during sex will be the centerpiece. For World Sexual Health Day, afterglow will make Girlsplaining available to the public for free, alongside select SFW clips from Cravings and No Translation, which explore pleasure during pregnancy, trans intimacy and different expressions of sexual agency.

Join the conversation on September 3 at 5pm ET to learn more from leading sex educators, experts from the adult film industry and sexologists/therapists about what these films can teach us about asking for what we want, setting boundaries without killing the mood, pleasure beyond penetration, and the role erotic media can play in healthier real-world sex.
