Every Body: Bon jan sante seksyèl pou tout moun

Tanie’s Hospital Center is organizing an open day on sexual health under the theme “EVERY BODY: Bon jan sante seksyèl pou tout moun.”

The event is coordinated by Dr. Sry Lanka Bendjy Sanon, pending membership with the World Association for Sexual Health (WAS), together with the Tanie’s Hospital Center organizing team.

The event will bring together healthcare professionals, community organizations, sexual and reproductive health organizations, feminist associations, and media partners to provide accessible, evidence-based information and services to the community.

The program will include educational talks and interactive workshops on sexual health, contraception and family planning, correct condom use, HIV and STI prevention, sexual violence, consent, fertility, and sexual well-being. Participants will also have access to voluntary HIV/STI screening, reduced-cost consultations in gynecology, urology and sexual health, psychological support, and qualified professionals in sexology. A wellness space will offer short relaxation activities such as hand, head and shoulder massages.

The event is intended for the general public, including young people, women, men, couples, people seeking reproductive or sexual health services, and anyone wishing to access reliable information and support.

We hope participants will leave with practical knowledge, greater awareness of their sexual health, reduced stigma around seeking care, and clear information on where to access prevention, screening, treatment and support services.

Above all, we want people to understand that quality sexual health care, dignity and respect should be accessible to everybody.
